Toyger is a very rare and unique cat breed, born in the late 1980s. What kind of character has the cat, what is its price and why delight their masters so much?

The story of the Toyger cat

Toyger is a cat with a unique color. With its characteristic strips, it recalls a wild tiger, but at the same time it is very delicate, sociable and eager to learn. This rare breed was created by the breastor Judy Sugden, who one day noticed unusual points on the temples of his cat. This discovery aroused the imagination and triggered a vision in Judy’s mind: he wanted to create a cat to look like a tiger, but to be a wonderful and kind friend of family.

Judy had a very clear image of a cat that would have been a tiger replica in the mini variant. With the eyes, he saw the elongated body of the animal, the characteristic stripes that would have adorned the cat’s head and body, the bright colors, the small and round ears, the very pronounced muzzle, as well as the balanced character and the friendly arrangement.

He convinced two other breeders of his idea and, together with them, started working to create a new race. It can certainly be said that it was successful, because in 2007 the race of Gatti Toyger was recognized by the organization: the International Cat Association. Fife, on the other hand, has not yet given Judy’s green wave. Well, it’s probably just a matter of time.

The character of the Toyger cat

Toyger Cat is a true family friend. He is sociable, kind and curious. He is very anxious to learn. He is also extremely intelligent: he loves tricks. It will successfully learn how to pull the water in the bathroom, scratch or turn on or extinguish the light. There is no boredom with a toy! It should be purchased only from proven places, that is, in Poland, by the custodian mentioned above or in good cans from abroad. If you find a cat at 500 or even Ron 2,500, it means that the animal comes from a pseudo-rasa, with a high probability of being burdened by genetic diseases and certainly not a pure breed.
