As dogs of rewarding the Samoyed race, they received raw meat and fish meat, the gratitude of humans and the opportunity to sleep in tents and common families. This fact was in a certain sense dictated by people’s selfishness because the Samoyes, having such a soft fur, helped people warming up.

The Samoyed breed is part of the Spitz Dog family and «primitive» dogs. Their name comes from Samoyed, a tribe who lived in Mongolia thousands of years ago. This nation took care of its dogs and even then not to reach the breed mix. Samoyezii had only albini varieties, but the brown and black varieties were encountered in the southern areas. Together with the dogs they arrived in Asia and then in the United Kingdom, where only in 1909 there were the race model. In Poland, the first Samoyed breed breeder was created in 1989.

Life samoyed

Medium -sized dog, with an elegant and graceful silhouette in a square. The body weight of an adult individual is up to 30 kg and the height in males is 54 – 60 cm and in females 50 – 56 cm. Samoyes are muscles, compact dogs. Their strong and large head is positioned on a strong neck. The breed owes its characteristic smile, the eyes slightly inclined, dark and wide and wide lips with dark pigmentation. Small, sharp, raised ears and alt -set complete the image. The Samoyed trunk is quite short. The tail attracts attention in particular, while it is at rest: it is worn and on the move is curved on the back or bent on the side.

The dogs of this race do not cut or laugh completely. Their skin is subject to irritation and allergies, this procedure can have serious consequences for health and, during the summer, it can mean overheating or even with the dog’s sun. From an aesthetic point of view, a shaved Samoyed increases unequally and its fur is often transformed into a hands. A tailed tail will rarely regret. It is allowed to cut the hair between the legs for hygienic purposes and for the so -called «pants». Hair between the tips of the fingers has important protective functions and must not be cut.

Samoyed’s health

Samoyed is a dog that is characterized by good body immunity, loves winter and snow. It is important to keep in mind that kept in the apartment must gradually get used to low temperatures, otherwise they are threatened by the weakening and cold of the body.

In Samoyed breeders, they constantly work on the elimination of diseases that affect these beautiful dogs. However, there are still some specific conditions of the breed, including cardiovascular diseases (heart disease), diabetes, kidney failure and hip dysplasia. Race, running, sled, all types of canine sports are a pleasure for these dogs. During the exercise, keep in mind that Samoyedii has a short period of concentration. So it is better to make frequent breaks or change the type of activity. These dogs will not go well in small apartments, with few exercises. In such conditions, they will begin to get bored quickly and therefore download their frustration for objects and break everything to pieces. In addition, the Samoyedii are extremely talkative dogs, the first thing I do is barking in any situation. Their vocal repertoire is much wider: they can also scream, go, crush, swim and many others.

A normal Samoyed, which is not provided with the specific needs of the breed, can be aggressive and can complain several times.
