We must also plan the cessation of nutrition in early spring, as soon as the possibility of making food appear. However, we must gradually reduce the amount of food offered, in order to give birds the opportunity to «become independent». Another important thing is the place where we leave food for birds. The power supply must be positioned so that cats cannot reach them. Birds become easy for predators during nutrition. Another important condition for the safe installation of the power supply is the distance as big as the glass or glass walls, because when the birds want to run in case of danger, they affect a great strength of obstacles, which can lead to their death.

What do we nourish wild birds?

Once you have chosen a suitable place and the time becomes unfavorable, it is time to provide you adequate birds. In the zoo it is possible to buy mixes of ready -made seeds, fatty spheres consisting of a mixture of sebum, seeds and fruit, as well as other products dedicated to wild birds. You can also traditionally hang a piece of bacon, but be careful not to be salty. The salt is fatal for our winged friends, especially in the case of limited access to the water. We should also be careful of the influence of the weather conditions on the freshness of the piece of bacon. It can also remain for 3 weeks in the cold, but also with a heating of the time, grinds and can be harmful to birds.

The biggest mistake that people make when they nourish birds is to throw all the debris in the kitchen. Very transformed, spicy and often moldy food is a real threat to the health and life of birds. In winter, the old bread on the meadows of the lawn causes controversies between those who feed on birds, their opponents and the management of condominiums. Unfortunately, opponents are usually right, because wet and moldy bread hurts more than well. Long -term diet can lead to digestive system disorders and even death. This type of food is decidedly more dangerous than snow and frost.

What do we nourish the swans and ducks?

Often during our winter walks we stop near the water to feed the ducks or swans. If we want to deal with birds in winter, we should provide small vegetables, cereal seeds, corn or whole grains, for example oats. Although the birds ate bread with greater pleasure, as well as sweets in humans, it does not add anything precious in the diet. We must leave an adequate amount of food, to remain excess foods that will be broken in water or surroundings. The place where we decide to nourish birds in the water is also important. It must be a place removed from the areas where dogs usually walk.

Which animals should be nourished in winter?

Not only do birds in our neighborhood need help in winter. It is very important to help cats living on the street. In the cold, they need much more food to maintain correct body temperature. It is better to leave food and water in a quiet place, away from rain and snow. Dry food is the most suitable in winter, because it is the least affected by frost. The water must be changed regularly, especially during frosts. The most important in the food of cats is regularity, in order not to expose cats to hunger periods. It is equally important to guarantee shelter away from adverse weather conditions. Homeless, cat fur can be wet, losing its isolation properties and animal risks that die of hypothermia. You can leave the basements of the basement open or you can place the isolated boxes, specially adapted for cats. In the case of cellars, it would be a good idea to leave cats more ways, so that they do not enter a trap.
