The most expensive cats in the world reach dizzying quantities. Their price depends on the reputation of the farm, the growth line, the purpose or the popularity of the breed. Those who have beaten the records cost tens of thousands of roni. The ranking of the most expensive cats begins with the Ashera breed. The subsequent positions are occupied, among others, by Savannah or Toyger.
The topic of the price of cats is very difficult, because it is difficult to offer the exact value of a certain race. Rates are determined by many factors. An expensive cat must be in line with the breed standard and has entitled ancestors, which is confirmed to pedigree. Check what the breeds will pay more and read a brief description.
What factors do they influence the price of a cat?
The price of cats is determined by several factors. These include the associated costs, among others, with:
● the popularity and availability of the breed – More known, but with limited purchase options, the greater its value,
● hard work and time dedicated to preparation to a kitten to be placed in a new home,
● Buy an animal from a real breeder -The individuals of the so-called pseudo-cores are much cheaper, but their originality is not confirmed in any way. Only the cats of a real breeder receive a pedigree, that is, a document indicating their race. The pedigree is important for many other reasons, because it provides basic information on the health of the animal or its ancestors (usually up to four or five generations).
● the prevalence of growth – The animals of a known and respected farm, whose representatives have been very successful in the exhibitions, in the competitions, will naturally be more expensive than those in the places just established and little known,
● the degree in which the cat complies with the accepted standard – The more the cat is in line with the breed standard adopted by the felinological organization, the greater the price, the greater the price
● The title of the ancestors – The titles won by the ancestors of the cat will increase the price of the next generations, which involves greater probability that the talents and the beautiful appearance continues from subsequent generations,
● maintenance (For example, receive special care, eat, veterinary care).
In addition, the purpose of the animal is important: for reproduction, for the exhibition or as a family pet. The first case provides for belonging to a breeder (for example, the payment of a registration fee, the payment of contributions, the download of documents) and the acquisition mainly of female cats and those intended for reproduction are generally more expensive than male. In the second case, there are costs for the preparation of the animal to participate in the exhibitions. The third alternative is the least expensive.
