However, there is a great disproportion between cats in terms of requirements: those with a substrate often require more frequent combs and their fur can be confused. In these cats, the lack of regular brushing can lead to the need to cut the opaque fur. The cats that do not have the fur are rarely tangled, but must also regularly brush the fur for hygiene reasons. This is also important because the cat eats the hair that falls when it is washed and is better for its health if there is as little as possible.
