Turkish angora is a cat with a very long story. It originates the area of ​​Eastern Asia. The cats of this breed are considered curious and incredible. Although they have a determined nature, they like affection. It is not among the popular cats for reproduction. Instead, they are particularly protected in Türkiye and are considered a national race.

Only in the 70s was it officially recognized as a race. Its name has a connection with Ankara, which was called angora in antiquity. At old days, they were ordinary copies and today they are rather expensive cats: the price of a Turkish angora can vary between 1,500 and 2,500 pounds.

Turkish angora is a medium -sized cat. Adults reach 30-33 cm in height and 2-5 kg ​​in weight. Reach full maturity at the age of 10-12 months. Turkish angora is a cat with a long and slender body.
